Robin graduated from Leigh High School.  She received her post-secondary education from Wayne State College.

Mrs. Urban taught for one year at Columbus Public Schools, and since then has taught at Leigh Elementary School.

Mrs. Urban and her husband Josh have one daughter Ella.
