Artist-in-Residence

During the week of April 7th through the 11th, P.T.O. sponsored an Artist-in-Residence. The artist, Julia Noyes from Lincoln, Nebraska, focused on working with the students on a pointillism mural.  The finished product can be viewed in the gym at school.

arpDr. Suess' Birthday Celebration

Platte Center Elementary students recently enjoyed listening to Mr. Bob Arp read "Horton Hears a Who".  He brought a special "Horton" with him to show the kids!  The students then enjoyed cookies while wearing their special hats for the occasion.  Thank you Mr. Arp!
