Early Learning Connection

Welcome to the Early Learning Connection

Mission is to build an effective coordinated system for preparing, supporting, and recognizing the early childhood care and education workforce in order to provide high quality programs for young children and their families.

All areas of Nebraska are served by regional training partnerships working to support professional development for early childhood caregivers/teachers in inclusive home, center, and school based-programs. These partnerships are awarded grant funds to assist collaborative efforts to achieve high quality, affordable, accessible training for all those who work with young children ant their families. The Early Childhood Professional Development Partnerships were developed out of a commitment from the NDE offices of Early Childhood, Special Education, Head Start State Collaboration Office, and Early Childhood Training Center. This included funding a full-time paid coordinator in each area to provide leadership in maintaining the existing partnership while expanding the partnership to continually improve the provision of needed training.

Counties served: Boone, Burt, Butler, Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Merrick, Nance, Platte, Polk, and Saunders
