TEC-Teens Encounter Christ

TEC is a weekend experience for high school juniors and seniors and college freshman and sophomores on a Catholic journey of faith, which emphasizes the Paschal Mystery of Jesus in our lives. In TEC you experience:

The weekend begins Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. and concludes Monday at about 4:00 p.m. You will need to be there the entire time!

TEC is a 3-day weekend Saturday thru Monday retreat for high school juniors and seniors.

TEC #59 Dec. 8-10, 2007, Beatrice

TEC #60 Feb. 9-11, 2008, Wahoo

Tec #61 April 5-7, 2008, McCook

TEC #62 June 7-9, 2008, David City

What to Bring: Comfortable and appropriate clothing- jeans, sweat shirts, gym shoes, some change for pop. All the necessities for three days away from home. If you play a musical instrument, bring it with you. Bring your own towels, bedroll or sleeping bag and pillow, personal care items, and any medications you are prescribed to take.

What Not to bring: watches, more than a few dollars pocket change, expensive jewelry, radios, walkmans, books and homework, alcohol and drugs.

Cost:

$70.00 Please include full registration fee with your complete application form. Due two weeks prior to TEC weekend. No one will be turned away because of inability to pay. Registration fee is non-refundable after the Monday prior to the TEC for which you register; however, should you need to cancel after that time, you may apply the registration fee to a different TEC weekend.

QUEST

Quest is a 2-day weekend Saturday & Sunday retreat for high school freshman and sophomores.

Quest #14 Feb. 2-3, 2008 Hastings

Quest #15 April 12-13, 2008, David City

-a 28 hour encounter with Christ

-an opportunity to find out more about yourself

-presented by a group of young adults

-a chance to meet 30-35 other freshmen and sophomores who want to grow in their faith

-an opportunity for prayer and sharing with others

-includes a celebration of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist

    The weekend begins Saturday morning at 9:30 and concludes Sunday afternoon at about 3:30 p.m. You will need to be there the entire time.
