In late 2005, when the Unicameral passed LB28, Nebraska became one of the few states in the U.S. to offer a tax credit to individuals and businesses for charitable giving.

This important program not only helps encourage endowment donations to help Aquinas and St. Mary’s continue to provide a catholic education for the families of the David City area; it also helps wealth built in the state, stay in the state.

Since the bill is scheduled to sunset in 2010, Endow Nebraska, the organization originally formed to promote the legislation, is soon to embark on a campaign to raise awareness of this tax credit program.  Find out how you can enjoy up to $5,000 in tax credits per year.  For more information about LB28 and the tax credits available for individuals and businesses, long on to www.NebraskaTaxCredit.org or consult your financial advisor.
