Supporting Research for Intervention

Vocabulary is most efficiently taught and learned when students have direct instruction in the meanings of morphemes and have multiple opportunities to use key course vocabulary to apply and be held accountable for this knowledge. Vocabulary knowledge is essential for comprehension.

Intervention #2: All 7th-12th grade students will improve vocabulary skills in all curricular areas
