Lunch today: Beef Steak Sandwich, Chips, Green Beans, Pears, Chocolate Mousse

The following students will be leaving for the Cornhusker Conference Band Clinic at 8:45am Monday morning and will be gone all day:

Jamie Wendt, Marissa Pelan, Alyssa Oeltjen, Ellie Fuhr, Ashley Machacek, Chase Ahrens, Logan Went, Harley Hamernik, Jasmine Machacek, Justin Reininger, Alex Settje, Thomas Urban, Zach Kuhr, Kyle Schultz, Kyle Kabes, Dylan Beller, Carlene Reichmuth, Nick Wendt, Matthew McMullin, Riley Schroeder, Adrian Bruhn, Sam Herink, and Austin Bruhn.

The following students will be leaving for the clinic at 3:45pm:

Emily Maneely, Hallee Held, Hanna Hake, Stephanie McMullin, Sheila Reichmuth, Martin Diaz, Morgan Bruhn, Erick Diaz, Luke Boyd, Ben Kuhr, and Justine Callahan.

Concert is at 7PM at the Platte College Gym.

There will be no cheer or dance practice Monday evening because of the Band Clinic. We will meet on Wednesday with the time yet to be determined.

Seniors, the yearbook needs your headshot for the yearbook by Feb. 17th. If you are not getting one, let Lynn know, and she'll take one quick! These are for the yearbook and the paper!

SENIORS:

Please tell Ashley or Heidy what song you would like to be played over your pictures during the graduation video by Friday, February 24^th.

You need to choose 20 seconds of a song or a certain portion, and must provide us with a copy, either on flashdrive or CD.

The song must be appropriate (i.e. no vulgar language or referencing).

Again, please do this by Friday, February 24^th or you will have Hannah Montana played over your pictures.

ALSO, if you have someone you would like to be remembered in the graduation video that you have lost, please give Ashley or Heidy a picture by Monday, February 27^th.

These are the working assignments for the last marathon of the year! Concession stand - set up right after school and work the boys JV game: Logan, Alex, and Thomas; Girls Varsity - Malori, Marissa, and Trevor; Boys varsity - Steph and Carlene who will also clean up the lobby. Sloppy Joe Stand in the cafeteria - Boys JV set up at 4:00 - Taylor, Ellie, and Misty; Girls Varsity - Drew and Michael; and Boys Varsity and clean up the cafeteria - Allison and Jayden. Sophomore boys have gym clean up.

These are the food items that need to be brought for Marathon b-ball game vs. Howells Friday, February 10. 5 lbs. of sloppy joe meat cooked and SEASONED: Logan, Malori, Taylor, Jasmine, Marissa, Steph, and Carlene. Please have it here by noon. Bringing 30 bars precut & here by 4:00: Drew, Allison, Alex, Jayden, Thomas, and Trevor. Bringing a 24 pack of pop already cold by 4:00: Pepsi - Misty and Ellie, Mt. Dew - Austin and Michael, Dr. Pepper - Kyle and Luke, and Diet Pepsi - Zach.

Reminder if you must leave to play basketball, cheer/dance, or play in band it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to find someone to work for you - preferably a parent or a HS student. BOWLERS If you are leaving Friday, find a replacement worker and make arrangements to bring your food items ahead of time.

The following LHS Speech Team members need to pay for and pick up their shirts from Mr. V:

These Seniors need to pay Ashley and pick up their class pictures by this Tuesday (2-7-12): Erick $8, Jasmine $4, Willie $7.

Panther Fans - It's a "Blue Out" Night for the home game against Howells on Feb. 10. Put on your Blue Panther Gear or if you have an old cheerleader sweater, pep club shirt, a Leigh letter jacket, or old jersey dig them out and wear them to the game. Prizes will be given for the Best Dressed adult and student. Several other prizes and awards will be given out throughout the night. Come and support our Panthers! Go Big Blue!!!

Seniors: ALL males must register with selective service on or about your 18th birthday. It's the law. Register at www.sss.gov
