Where found:
It is one of the only elements not found in nature. It is obtained by irritating neodymium and pasedyium with neutrons.It is found form processing waste fuels from nuclear reactors.
Uses:
It is used for signs, gauge thickness and in small batteries for space vehicles.

Melting point: 1042 degrees C and 1907.6 degrees F
Boiling point:3000 degrees C and 5432 degrees F
Interesting information:
It was discovered in1945 by Jacob Marinsky, Lawrence Glendidin and Charles Coryyell they found from uranium fission products. It was also named after the God Prometheus. It was one of the last of the elements to be discovered.
