Notice Of Request For Proposals For Administrative and Management Services for ESU & Member School District Section 403(b) Plans
Notice is hereby given that Educational Service Unit Nos. 1, 2, 7, 8 and 17 of the State of Nebraska (ESUs) are soliciting proposals on behalf of themselves and their member State of Nebraska Public school districts (each, a District) for the comprehensive administration of the ESUs and DistrictÕs Internal Revenue Code (Code) Section 403(b) Plans (each a Plan). The ESUs invite interested firms or persons to submit a sealed proposal to provide administrative and management services for the Plan of the ESUs and member Districts. All submitted proposals shall be sealed and must be received at the ESU No. 1 Administrative Offices located at 211 Tenth Street, Wakefield, Nebraska 68784-5014, at 3:00 o'clock p.m. on April 28, 2008. Proposals may be delivered in person, via United States Mail, or parcel service; proposals will not be received by facsimile transmission, e-mail, or any other electronic or telephonic means. Only such proposals as have been received by the School District Administrative Offices, at the address, time and date listed above, will be considered. Submitted proposals will be immediately and simultaneously opened and recorded in the presence of those submitting proposals, or their representatives, and the public at 3:00 o'clock p.m. on April 28, 2008. Following the opening of proposals, the proposals will be evaluated and short-listed, interviews may be conducted, and the final contract negotiated and awarded. THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ALL PERSONS DESIRING TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL AT THE ESU NO. 1 ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES LOCATED AT 211 TENTH STREET, WAKEFIELD, NEBRASKA 68784-5014, TELEPHONE (402) 287-2061, FAX (402) 287-2066. The ESUs and Districts reserve the right to reject any and all proposals received that are not deemed to be in the best interests of the ESUs and Districts. The ESUs and Districts further reserve the right to cancel or amend the Request for Proposals at any time and will notify all persons requesting proposal documents accordingly.
