  • Regional Autism Spectrum Disorder Network Coordinator

    ESU 7 has an opening for a State Autism Spectrum Disorder Network Coordinator. This position requires Special Education certification. The ASD Coordinator will develop and implement the ASD grant, consult with schools to provide support for students with Autism as well as provide professional development to school district staff in the Northeast Region. Candidates must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Training and support will be provided. Salary Range $60,000-$90,000.   • Special Education Teacher

  • NNNC Tech Analyst

    Northeast Nebraska Network Consortium (NNNC) is seeking applicants to fill the opening of NNNC Technology Analyst. NNNC is a consortium of ESUs 1, 2, 7, 8 and 17. This full time non-remote position supports the technology staff with special projects in each of those ESUs. Some travel is required. Experience with Fortinet, Dmarcian, Active Directory Federated Services, Advanced TCP/IP Networking, and Cybersecurity best practices is preferred.

  • School Psychologist (2024-2025)

    ESU 7 has an opening for a full time or part time School Psychologist for the 2024-2025 school year. The service area is within 45 miles of Columbus, NE. Duties include: Evaluation of cognitive/academic functioning, collaboration/consultation on Student Assistance and Response to Intervention teams, classroom observations, and help in designing strategies/interventions for all students.  You will be part of a strong School Psychology team with training and support. Salaries begin at $50,186 for a bachelor level for interns and  $69,570 for Ed Specialist degree plus years of experience and additional education.   • Speech Language Pathologist (2024-2025)

    ESU 7 has multiple openings for a full-time or part-time Speech Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 school year. Duties include providing services to our school districts as well as collaborating with classroom teachers, parents, and administrators. The applicant will work with school-age students. You will be part of a strong team of SLPs with training and support. Salaries begin at $59,878 for masters plus years of experience and additional education.   • Substitute Paraprofessional

    ESU 7 has an ongoing need for a Substitute Paraprofessional. This will be an on-call and as needed position. This position is typically for a 6-hour workday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and it pays $15 per hour. Applicants will be working with students with disabilities between ages 5-21. Job requirements: High school diploma, effective communication skills, proficient computer skills, and ability to work with a team in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Paraprofessional

    ESU 7 has an opening for a paraprofessional in our Cen7ter. ESU 7 Cen7ter is a level III vocational and life skills program supporting students in special education based on their individual needs. The Cen7ter serves students aged 14 - 21 while supporting them in gaining skills in Domestic, Recreation and Leisure, Vocational, Community, Social Skills and Functional Academics. This is a 30 hr/week position with benefits.

  • Paraprofessional

    ESU 7 has an opening for a paraprofessional in our Learning Academy.  The ESU 7 Learning Academy is a level III placement school that focuses on student’s individual needs based on academic, behavioral, and mental health. Our program supports students with social-emotional structures and mental health therapies in order for students to learn skills to become successful with the individual goals that have been set for them by their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team. Districts choose to enroll students at the Learning Academy to support the student's needs, with the anticipation of students coming back to the general education setting. This is a 30 hr/week position with benefits.
