Migrant

What We Do:

The Title IC Migrant Education Program (MEP) is dedicated to empowering migratory children and youth to surmount the formidable challenges posed by frequent relocations, educational interruptions, cultural and linguistic disparities, and health-related impediments. MEP's overarching objective is to ensure the attainment of rigorous academic standards by all migrant students, ultimately leading to high school graduation (or the attainment of a High School Equivalency Diploma, HSED), thus equipping them for responsible citizenship, continued learning, and gainful employment.

The ESU 7 MEP is a Regional project which covers 33 counties in eastern Nebraska. Our staff identify eligible families, provide supplemental educational services, and support services to eligible students to assist with their academic success.
